Schools and Curriculum

Often, the most impactful learning experiences are those delivered outdoors. We specialise in providing creative and engaging curriculum-based outdoor programmes that have a lasting impact on young people - and their teachers.

Learning Outside the Classroom and Outdoor Learning

Drawing on our deep curriculum knowledge, we design and run creative, fun packed outdoor learning sessions to suit all learning styles. Our events are very hands-on and carefully themed, structured and resourced to stimulate the curiosity of even the most reluctant learners. Our skilled and experienced practitioners are great at engaging with young people and encouraging them to get involved.

We can run full or half day outdoor learning events for 30 - 60 children ( years 3 - 6 ) at your school site or at other locations, including parks and outdoor learning venues.

Each session gives an opportunity for listening, thinking, making and doing. We bring together storytellers, craftspeople, reenactors, tools and props to provide learning context and hands-on fun.

On one day your group might be preparing for an exciting Anglo-Saxon battle. On another they may be sifting through rocks and soils in search of fossils and treasure, or analysing finds they've dug up as amateur archaeologists.
